Zen Shiatsu is a deeply nourishing and energising Japanese form of massage therapy. It’s done on a cotton futon mat through loose comfortable clothing. Zen Shiatsu uses traditional oriental diagnosis and supportive thumb, palm or elbow pressure on the body’s energy meridians to rebalance energy and release blockages and stagnation. It relaxes and invigorates the body and is deeply restorative on every level. By rebalancing the musculoskeletal, meridian and nervous systems, Zen Shiatsu stimulates the natural healing ability of the body.

Suitable for many conditions and general wellbeing, this unique therapy will help your body and internal organs reach equilibrium, encourage the self-healing process and promote a long-lasting sense of calm and relaxation.

Peter is an experienced practitioner having trained extensively in Australia, Japan and Italy. Zen Shiatsu is accredited by the Shiatsu Therapy Association of Australia and rebates are available from most private health funds.

Treatments are available and go for 75mins.  Health fund rebates available.

Diploma of Reflexology – HLT51712

The ancient technique of Reflexology is a non – invasive, holistic therapy based on the principle that the body’s anatomy is reflected in miniature on certain reflex points located on the feet, hands, ears and face. The treatment comprises of applying specific pressure movements to these reflex points which triggers a response in the corresponding areas of the body hence encouraging relaxation, homeostasis and well-being.

Studies show that Reflexology can be highly effective in reducing stress and pain by promoting a profound state of deep relaxation. Through the relaxation process the body is able to release blockages, rebalance, restore the flow of energy and function more effectively particularly if recovering from illness, injury or under the influence of prolonged damaging stress.

Zenthai Shiatsu is an interactive ‘dance’ between the practitioner and the receiver bringing fluidity, aliveness and totality of healing to one’s body and mind. The spirit settles naturally when in a state of trust.

A combination of acupressure massage, Thai flowing massage techniques, wholefood dietary advice, Ki Yoga correctives & moxabustion are utilized in the treatment & diagnosis. The patient lies on a futon mattress fully clothed during the treatment.

Zenthai creates space and time to allow each of us to listen to a deeper rhythm and wisdom. A true letting go of tension in the muscles, joints and tissues, but also letting go of old patterning in the mind and heart.

Bec has been a shiatsu therapist since 2004 and is honoured to offer sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays & Sundays.  Sessions are 1.5 hrs long and cost $120.

Go ahead & book yourself in for a healing Zenthai Shiatsu today…& get ready to feel your best!
